Why this work needs more than a tool demo

AI adoption is also a people and systems decision.

Behavioral healthcare organizations work with private information, complex regulations, limited capacity, and decisions that affect real people. A workflow can look efficient on paper and still create more review work, more risk, or more confusion for the staff expected to use it.

My background is in therapy, training, operations, and behavioral healthcare leadership. I bring that experience into the AI conversation so teams can evaluate the actual work instead of reacting to the newest feature.

Initial topic territory

Questions worth working through with your audience or team

What AI changes in behavioral healthcare

A practical look at where AI is already showing up, which uses deserve more scrutiny, and what still depends on human judgment.

The behavioral side of AI adoption

How staff, leaders, and clients actually respond to new tools, including uncertainty, over-trust, workarounds, and the pressure to move faster than the system is ready for.

Context before tools

Why responsible implementation starts with the knowledge, policies, constraints, and real examples your organization already has.

Keeping human review in the process

A clear way to decide what staff must verify, what leaders should monitor, and where an AI-supported workflow needs to stop.

Speaking and workshops

Built around the decisions your audience is facing now

Conference talks and workshops can be adapted for executives, program leaders, supervisors, clinicians, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.

01 / Keynotes

Clear ideas for a larger room

A focused talk that helps the audience understand the issue, recognize the practical risks, and leave with better questions.

02 / Workshops

Apply the thinking to real work

A working session using examples, use cases, and review questions that fit the people in the room.

03 / Leadership sessions

Make the decision easier to explain

A smaller session for leaders who need to evaluate priorities, constraints, and staff impact before moving forward.

Professional background

Experience with the people and systems behind the policy.

I've spent more than two decades working as a therapist and behavioral healthcare leader. That has included direct care, training, complex programs, operational leadership, and managing large state-funded behavioral healthcare contracts.

I also build and test AI-supported tools and workflows myself. That combination lets me speak to both the possibility and the part that still needs careful review.
